Remember, remember, the fifth of November...

"Remember, remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason, why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot."

Yes, it is Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Bonfire Night. You can learn more about the historical facts behind this celebration, and also about how people celebrate nowadays in this video:

Welcome!

Welcome to this new year. I hope you learn a lot and, of course, pass your final exams, ;)

This is the textbook for this year:
English File Upper-intermediate Third Edition, by Christina Lathan-Koenig and Clive Oxenden, (Oxford University Press), ISBN 978-0-19-455844-0.

Be careful to buy it with the Workbook WITH KEYS in the same pack (ISBN 978-0-19-455850-1), as many of the tasks in the workbook will be homework not to be corrected in class.

And in the side columns of the blog you can find resources and links attached. I hope they are useful to you. Anyway, you can bring your doubts to class.

See you there.
